Johannesdal Hal has enormous picture windows overlooking the majestic mountains surrounding Johannesdal 1207. The hall has seating for 200 guests with a dance floor.
A soundproof reception area which can be used for small gatherings and is ideal for conferences for up to 100 attendees. This area will be utilised in case of bad weather to host pre-function cocktails or ceremonies.
It is available to rent to any of our clients who want their function to continue unhindered with music and dancing all night
This is a comfortable area with a well equipped and well stocked, galley type kitchen where our overnight guests will be able to have their breakfast. Overnight guests could host a small pre/post event here for up to 20 friends at no additional cost.
Die Stoepkamer opens up onto Die Veranda facing the pool courtyard. It is the ideal area to have a small summer party or year-end functions. It is available to rent when we have no overnight guests.
This small enclosed garden has a pavilion overlooking the lily ponds. It is a lovely area for pre-function drinks or smaller intimate outdoor gatherings.

A massive old Oak tree towers over this enclosed space in our garden, a perfect area for pre/post function drinks. This area is directly linked to the Waterlelietuin and could be used in conjunction with it, creating space for an outdoor function for up to 100 people. This citrus garden terrace lies at the top end of the garden terraces leading down to the river at the far end of our property. It overlooks the magnificent mountains surrounding Johannesdal 1207. It is easily accessible from the main hall and is the perfect spot for prefunction drinks on a beautiful day.

Our two large garden terraces boast unsurpassable views. From both meticulously groomed terraces, there is an unobstructed view over the mountains surrounding Johannesdal 1207. Our terraced garden is the perfect space to have an open-air ceremony or early morning/late-afternoon outdoor function.

Our entrance garden with its two ponds filled with water lilies is the ideal place to receive your guests to Johannesdal Hal with welcoming drinks. It is a beautiful protected outdoor space and it leads directly into Johannesdal Hal.
